Major Project: Beading House

Beading House

The Beading House have two sections, for adults and for children. This is to make it more comfortable for the adults (main target audience) to do make their beads creations. The Beading House walls are made of glass so that people outside can see what they are doing and get interested to join the beads-making. The scallop on the exterior roof of the Beading House is inspired by the signature pattern of ironed Pyssla Beads.

Adults Beading Table

Two main tools needed to make Pyssla Beads are Peg Boards and tweezers which are already prepared on the table. If the Beaders need inspiration on what shapes of Pyssla Beads they want to do, they can use the Digital Pyssla Beads Catalogue in front of them. The chairs are custom-made with a Pyssla Beads patterned back rest. The Pyssla Beads are categorized according to colours at the center of the Beading Table. While they are beading, they can read the CHD flyer placed on top of the Beading Table.

Kiddies Beading Table

The children's table set is smaller and short on height compared to the adult's. Their tweezers are made of plastic for the safety of the children. The furnitures used here are from IKEA's Mammut Children Table Set.

Ironing & Packaging Counter

After the Beaders have done making their own Beads creations, they can place a plastic lead on top of their peg board and bring it to the Ironing & Packaging Counter to flatten the arranged Pyssla Beads. They can also ask the staff to hook their desired fashion accessories to their flattened Pyssla Beads. They can either choose to bring the Pyssla Beads creations home or sell them at the Beads for Heartbeats Art Market.
